Established in 2013, Summer Scents is based in Northland on a lifestyle block west of Whangarei. We have large spray-free gardens that provide plants which are distilled and infused to make many of the ingredients used in our products. Native plants from our bush are collected and used as well.
Our products are made using natural ingredients from our property and sourced from reputable suppliers. We handcraft our products on site in small batches. We are intent on creating quality, healthy products that are beneficial and a pleasure to use.
In our distilling room we produce lavender essential oil and a range of floral waters (hydrosols) using traditional style Portuguese copper stills. Filtered water from our spring is used in the distillation process.
